CANDLE BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
When burned properly, you will be able to enjoy a long lasting, clean burning, fragrant soy candle
CANDLE BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
When you light your candle for the first time it is very important to allow approximately one hour of burn time per inch of surface
diameter, or until your candle has a complete melt pool, before extinguishing.
(A melt pool is when your candle melts from edge to edge of your jar)
This will set the candles "memory" and avoid your candle from tunneling down the center. It will also prolong the burn time of your
candle. (Times may vary depending on room temperature and environment.)
TRIM YOUR WICKS
**Use a sharp wick trimmer or scissors to trim the wick. Using a dull tool will split the threads causing the wick to 'mushroom'
excessively. My Soy candles are designed to be trimmed to 1/4” before each burn.

WEAK FLAME ~ WICK WAS TRIMMED TO SHORT
If you trim your wick to short, or it has broken of at the base of your candle, your flame may be weak or may drown out.
Don’t fret, extinguish the flame and pour off some of the excess liquid wax into a safe container then relight.
Your flame will come back to life and you will be able to continue to enjoy the wonderful aroma of you candle!!
HIGH FLAME
**If the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly the candle is more than likely burning in a draft
or it's time to trim the wick. If you do not keep the wick trimmed and out of drafty areas, your candle will soot.
Be sure to extinguish the candle before trimming or moving.
SOOT
You may have heard people say "Soy candles are 100% soot free". Although soy wax candles are virtually soot free when
burned properly, no candle is 100% soot free. If you see that your candle is accumulating soot in your jar,
extinguish the flame and trim your wick. Remember: Soot can be prevented by keeping your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.
WHITE SMELLY SMOKE FROM YOUR WICK SHEN YOU BLOW OUT THE CANDLE
**If you blow out the flame to extinguish your candle, it will cause the wick to smoke ,
(ruining the delightful aroma in your room) , and may cause soot to cling to the warm rim of the jar.
Using a wick dipper will eliminate your candle from smoking when extinguishing your flame.

Candle Warnings and Tips
**If your candle appears to be burning off center you can correct this by
repositioning the wick slightly. To do so, extinguish the candle and allow wax
to cool until slushy; using a wick dipper gently guide the wick back to center or
toward the side that needs more heat before relighting.
**For best performance, burn candle until wax melts evenly across container, not exceeding 4 hrs.
**Discontinue use of candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains in bottom of jar.
**Choose a candle size that is appropriate for your room size !
**Always burn your candles on a heat resistant surface. Keep burning candle
away from curtains, walls, cats & flowers, or any item that could catch fire.
**Never put a topper on a newly lit candle, wait till it burns 1/2 down or
use it for decoration. Topper will get hot!
**Keep Burning candles away from children and pets!

lasting, clean burning, fragrant soy candle .
